Complaint Against Vijay Deverakonda Over Remarks On Kashmir And Tribals

Vijay Deverakonda's Comment Sparks Controversy

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has found himself in trouble after a police complaint was filed against him at the SR Nagar police station in Hyderabad. Advocate Kishan Lal Chauhan lodged the complaint, accusing the actor of making insulting comments about Adivasis during a recent public event.

The remarks were made during the pre-release event of the retro-themed movie starring Suriya. While condemning the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, Vijay reportedly compared the violence to attacks on tribals from 500 years ago, which triggered backlash.

The police are currently reviewing the complaint and awaiting legal counsel before proceeding with a formal case. Meanwhile, outrage has spread, especially in Andhra Pradesh. Leaders from the Manyam district Adivasi JAC have condemned Vijay's statements and are demanding a public apology.

Tribal leaders have expressed anger, stating that Vijay's comments reflect a lack of understanding of their history. The controversy continues to grow, with demands for the actor to clarify and apologize for his remarks.
