Darshan and Pavitra Gowda Granted Bail in Renukaswamy Murder Case

In the Renukaswamy murder case, Kannada star actor Darshan and his friend Pavitra Gowda were granted bail. The Karnataka High Court granted the bail on Friday. Justice S. Vishwajeet Shetty heard the bail petitions in the case. Five other accused individuals—Nagaraju, Anukumar, Lakshman, Jagadeesh alias Jagga, and R. Pradeep Rao—were also granted bail.

While granting bail, the court imposed certain conditions on the accused. The accused were instructed not to leave the jurisdiction of the court, not to contact witnesses, and not to intimidate them. Darshan had already been granted six weeks of interim bail due to health issues, and he is currently out on bail. Other accused individuals, except for Darshan, are expected to be released from jail on December 16.

In the case of the murder of his fan Renukaswamy, Darshan, Pavitra Gowda, and 15 other individuals face accusations. Renukaswamy sent inappropriate messages to Pavitra Gowda due to his close association with Darshan, which led to the murder. Renukaswamy was kidnapped from Chitradurga, and Darshan's associates brought him to Bangalore. In a shed in the Kamakshipalya area of Bangalore, he was brutally attacked, leading to his death. This case has become a subject of discussion not only in Karnataka but across the country.
