Hyderabad, Telangana, India: Popular actor Vijay Deverakonda had a close call when his car was involved in a minor road accident in Jogulamba Gadwal district, Telangana, on Monday. Police confirmed that the actor was completely unharmed.

The mishap took place while Deverakonda was on his way back to Hyderabad from Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh — the hometown of the late spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

As per the police report, the actor’s car lightly brushed against another four-wheeler, resulting in slight damage to his vehicle. Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries.

Following the incident, Vijay Deverakonda stepped out of his car and continued his trip to Hyderabad in a friend’s vehicle. He was reportedly accompanied by a few friends during the journey.

Later that evening, the driver of Deverakonda’s car filed a complaint with the police, who subsequently registered a case of rash driving against the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident.

On the work front, Deverakonda was recently seen in ‘Kingdom’ and made a cameo appearance in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
