Hyderabad: Tollywood's top producer Dil Raju has been given a significant position by the Telangana government. He has assumed the role of Chairman at the Telangana Film Development Corporation.The government issued the orders through Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and Dil Raju will hold this position for a period of two years.

Dil Raju's real name is Venkata Ramana Reddy. He began his career as a distributor with the 1990 film Pelli Pandiri. Later, he transitioned into producing movies with Dil, which became a success and earned him the name Dil Raju. He operates under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations and has produced both big-budget and small-budget films, giving opportunities to many in the industry. Recently, Dil Raju announced the launch of a new banner called "Dreams" to support new talent entering the industry. A website will also be launched in this regard.

Currently, he is producing three films. His latest big-budget film Game Changer, directed by Shankar and starring Ram Charan, is scheduled to release on January 10. Another film, Sankranthi Kosam, starring Venkatesh and directed by Anil Ravipudi, is set to release on January 14. Additionally, he is producing Thammudu, directed by Venu Sriram.
