Divya Sathyaraj Joins DMK: Actor's Daughter Makes Political Debut in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, it is difficult to separate politics from cinema. The two fields have a deep connection, with film stars ruling the political arena for decades. While recently, figures like Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have not been able to make significant political strides, earlier, cinema personalities like Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa ruled Tamil Nadu as Chief Ministers. Vijayakanth was able to carve out his own space in politics, and now, youth hero Udhayanidhi Stalin is gaining significant influence as the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

According to recent reports, the political entry of renowned Tamil actor Sathyaraj's daughter, Divya, has become a topic of discussion. Sathyaraj, famous for his role as Kattappa in Baahubali, has always been committed to Dravidian ideologies. Now, his daughter Divya's entry into the DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) party has piqued everyone's interest.

Divya Sathyaraj, a nutritionist and the daughter of actor Sathyaraj, officially joined the DMK party at the party headquarters, Anna Arivalayam. She met with DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Sunday. The event was also attended by DMK Treasurer TR Balu, General Secretary KN Nehru, Chennai East District Secretary and Minister PK Sekar Babu.
