Gaddar Film Awards: Best Telugu Films

The Telangana state government has recently announced the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, recognizing the best films over the past ten years (2014–2023). FDC Chairman Dil Raju and veteran actor Murali Mohan held a press meet to release the list. The selected films reflect the highest level of creativity and technical excellence in the Telugu film industry.

2014 – Best Film: Run Raja Run, 2nd: Paathasala, 3rd: Alludu Seenu

2015 – Best Film: Rudhramadevi, 2nd: Kanche, 3rd: Srimanthudu

2016 – Best Film: Shatamanam Bhavati, 2nd: Pelli Choopulu, 3rd: Janatha Garage

2017 – Best Film: Baahubali 2, 2nd: Fidaa, 3rd: Ghazi

2018 – Best Film: Mahanati, 2nd: Rangasthalam, 3rd: Care of Kancharapalem

2019 – Best Film: Maharshi, 2nd: Jersey, 3rd: Mallesham

2020 – Best Film: Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, 2nd: Colour Photo, 3rd: Middle Class Melodies

2021 – Best Film: RRR, 2nd: Akhanda, 3rd: Uppena

2022 – Best Film: Sita Ramam, 2nd: Karthikeya 2, 3rd: Major

2023 – Best Film: Balagam, 2nd: Hanuman, 3rd: Bhagavanth Kesari

Film personalities expressed that these awards will further encourage the Telangana film industry and help promote the production of even more outstanding films in the future.
