Gopichand, known for his friendship with Prabhas, is currently promoting his film Vishwam, directed by Srinuvaitla, which releases tomorrow. During promotions, Gopichand expressed comfort in his role as a hero but mentioned he would consider playing a villain if it meant working alongside Prabhas.

Prabhas is set to star in Rajashaab (working title: Fauji), directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, where he plays a British soldier. The director has approached Gopichand for a negative role, though he hasn't confirmed his participation yet. The film is produced by Naveen Ernani and Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Moviemakers banner. Gopichand has previously played villainous roles in films like Jayam and Nizh, alongside Prabhas.
