Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are reportedly going to get a divorce, ending their 37-year-long marital relationship. According to a TV news report, the couple has been living separately for several years. However, neither Govinda nor his wife Sunita has made an official statement regarding their divorce.

Reports suggest that their differing lifestyles have led to misunderstandings between the couple. There are speculations that Govinda's affair with a Marathi actress might be the reason behind their separation. Sunita mentioned that they are living in different houses. She also said that even after late hours, Govinda continues to attend meetings.

Sunita also revealed that she does not wish for Govinda to be her husband in the next life. During holidays, she hoped he would spend time with her and go out for snacks, but instead, he dedicates most of his time to work. She stated that there has never been an occasion when they went to the movies together. Govinda and Sunita Ahuja got married in March 1987. They had a daughter, Tina, in 1988, and their son Yashvardhan was born in 1997.
