Bollywood veteran actor Govinda has been in the news recently due to viral reports claiming that he is getting a divorce from his wife, Sunita Ahuja. Married on March 11, 1987, the couple was rumored to be ending their 37-year marriage. Reports suggested that Govinda and Sunita had been living separately for some time and were considering divorce due to personal differences. In a recent interview, Sunita even revealed that she and Govinda were residing in different houses—she stays in an apartment with their children, while Govinda lives in a bungalow across from them. These statements fueled speculation that the couple was heading for a divorce.

Govinda has now addressed these rumours, dismissing them as false. He stated that people visiting his house are only for business or film-related work and not for any divorce proceedings. He clarified that the reports circulating in the media are completely baseless.

Govinda’s manager also refuted the divorce speculations, stating that the news spread due to comments made by some family members. He acknowledged that Govinda and Sunita had differences, but not to the extent of getting a divorce. He further added that Govinda is currently busy with his film commitments and has no plans of separating from his wife.
