Hansika Motwani has landed in an unexpected controversy as a domestic violence case has been filed against her. The case was filed by Muskaan, the wife of Hansika's brother Prashant. Muskaan has accused not only Hansika but her entire family in the case.

Prashant and Muskaan fell in love and got married in 2021. However, disagreements have now arisen between the two, leading them to live separately for the past two months. On December 18, Muskaan filed a domestic violence case at the Amboli police station in Mumbai, alleging interference by Hansika and her family in their marital life, which caused conflicts.

In her complaint, Muskaan claimed she faced prolonged mental and physical harassment. Hansika, who made her Tollywood debut with the film "Desamuduru," has acted in several superhit Telugu films and impressed audiences with her work in Tamil and Telugu languages. Currently, she serves as a judge on a TV show and has recently worked on a few lady-oriented Tamil films, though they haven't achieved much success.
