Hemachandra Talks About Divorce Rumors: ‘Why Worry About Things That Don’t Matter?’

It has been three years since Tollywood singers Hemachandra and Shravan Bhargavi went their separate ways, though neither has officially confirmed the split. Hemachandra has consistently avoided discussing the matter publicly. In a recent interview, he addressed questions about the rumored divorce.

“What purpose does it serve?”

When asked about the divorce speculation, Hemachandra said, “Is it true? Is it false? Or is someone just spreading rumors? Setting all that aside… does knowing this help anyone in any way? If it does, I’ll speak about it. Otherwise, I don’t pay attention to such talk. I’m not someone who seeks to stay in the news at any cost.”

Focusing on music, not rumors

He added, “I don’t care about trivial matters. People know me as a singer, so they can ask about my work. If even one person finds inspiration in my music, that’s enough for me. Personal rumors are useless. If someone wants details about my private life, they can watch a show about it. Why do you want to know this? Answer that, and maybe I’ll respond.”

Looking back on family life

Hemachandra concluded, “I will talk about it when the time is right.” Hemachandra and Shravan Bhargavi fell in love and tied the knot in 2013. The couple even hosted shows together. In 2016, their daughter Chandrika was born as a symbol of their union. Though their separation has been long-standing, the details of their personal lives remain private.
