High Court Clears Actor Navdeep in Madhapur Drug Case, No Evidence Found
The High Court dismissed the Madhapur drug case against actor Navdeep, citing lack of evidence and no drugs found in his possession

Actor Navdeep has received major relief in the drug-related case that once caused widespread attention in Tollywood. Around three years ago, police had filed a case alleging his involvement with a drug network. However, the High Court has now quashed the case registered against him.
The court accepted the submissions made by advocate Venkata Siddhartha, who stated that no narcotic substances were recovered from Navdeep. He argued that the actor was implicated only by being mentioned in the FIR, without any supporting material evidence.
In connection with the Madhapur drug case, police arrested 12 individuals and had earlier issued notices to Navdeep for questioning. Narcotics officials claimed they had information suggesting Navdeep was acquainted with Ramchander, who was allegedly involved in drug distribution. Based on this, Navdeep was listed as the 39th accused in the case.
However, investigators failed to collect solid or convincing evidence linking him directly to the illegal activity. As a result, the High Court dismissed the case, bringing an end to the legal proceedings against the actor.
