Law enforcement agencies in Hyderabad are intensifying their action against organized drug networks. During this ongoing crackdown, the name of Rakul Preet Singh brother Amanpreet Singh has surfaced in a newly uncovered narcotics case.

A coordinated raid conducted by the Masab Tank Police along with the Eagle Team exposed crucial information related to the illegal drug operation. Authorities have already taken two businessmen into custody, while the prime suspect, Amanpreet Singh, is currently on the run. Police teams have initiated an extensive search operation to trace him.

Initial findings from the investigation indicate that large-scale drug distribution has been operating in Hyderabad since 2016. Officials believe the syndicate is closely associated with major criminal groups based in Punjab. Amanpreet Singh name had earlier appeared in the well-known Tollywood drug controversy as well.

There are claims that he previously managed to avoid strict legal consequences with alleged backing from influential political figures, even though he was arrested multiple times during 2017 and 2018. This time, however, authorities appear determined to proceed strictly according to the law without external interference.

Sources also revealed that Amanpreet Singh, who reportedly celebrated Christmas just two days ago, has since gone underground. Police officials stated that his arrest is expected soon and further revelations about the drug network are likely.
