Income Tax raids have created a stir in Tollywood since yesterday morning. Officials from the Income Tax Department conducted simultaneous raids at the offices of prominent production companies and the residences of producers. Reports have indicated that raids have also been carried out on several financiers. However, so far, the raids have only targeted producers and financiers, but now news has emerged that director Sukumar is also under investigation.

According to the latest media reports, Income Tax raids have been happening at director Sukumar's residence since yesterday morning. Income Tax officers reportedly picked up Sukumar directly from the airport and took him to his house. They are inspecting various documents related to financial transactions. Sukumar, who scored a blockbuster hit with "Pushpa 2", is reportedly being raided due to his involvement as a partner in the production of the film.

"Pushpa 2: The Rule" was jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, and it is said to have earned over 1850 crores at the box office, as confirmed by the makers. It is believed that this is the reason for the Income Tax raids. The offices of Mythri Movies, as well as the residences of producer Naveen Yerneni and CEO Cherry, were raided. Following this, it appears that the Income Tax Department is targeting everyone related to "Pushpa 2." In addition to Mythri Movie Makers, raids were also conducted at the residences and offices of other major producers in the industry, including Dil Raju Productions, Mango Media, and Abhishek Agarwal.
