Senior Tollywood actress and former MP Jaya Prada's brother, Raja Babu, recently passed away. He breathed his last on February 27 at his residence in Hyderabad. Jaya Prada shared this news on Instagram, and many netizens and film industry personalities expressed their condolences to her family.

Today, Jaya Prada, along with her family, immersed Raja Babu’s ashes in the Godavari River at Pushkar Ghat in Rajahmundry. She personally oversaw the rituals, accompanied by Raja Babu’s son, Samrat.

Speaking to the media, Jaya Prada expressed her sorrow, stating that Rajahmundry was her brother’s birthplace and that he always accompanied her whenever she visited. She mentioned that this was her first visit without him and that she prayed to Lord Shiva and the sacred Godavari River for his soul to attain peace.
