Jr NTR's Promise to Cover Cancer Patient's Medical Expenses Sparks Disappointment from Parents

Jr NTR: Recently, before the release of the film Devara, Jr NTR's fan Kaushik, a boy suffering from cancer, wanted to speak to Jr NTR. Fans arranged for a video call, during which Jr NTR assured that he would cover all the medical expenses for the boy. However, the boy’s parents have now come forward and expressed their disappointment, saying that Jr NTR did not provide even a single rupee for the treatment.

Kaushik’s parents, Saraswati and Srinivasulu, spoke to the media today and stated, "Jr NTR promised to help my son Kaushik with his cancer treatment. Before the release of Devara, Jr NTR spoke to my son over a video call and assured financial help for the treatment. But he hasn’t given us a single rupee. Currently, Kaushik has completed treatment at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. The government provided 11 lakh rupees and TTD gave 40 lakh rupees as financial aid. However, the hospital is asking for another 20 lakh rupees, which is emotionally troubling for us."

Their comments have gone viral, and it remains to be seen if Jr NTR or his fans will respond to this. Jr NTR recently achieved great success with the movie Devara, which grossed over 500 crores. He is currently busy with the shooting of the Bollywood film War 2, followed by a project with Prashanth Neel, and Devara 2 is also in his pipeline.
