Jr NTRs Family Distance and Political Entry: Purandeswari Breaks Silence

Daggubati Purandeswari comments on Jr NTR

In the movie Pushpa, the protagonist Pushparaj struggles to earn a surname and the respect that comes with it, facing humiliation and hardships due to not having one. His journey from nothing to becoming a recognized figure revolves around gaining a family name. Eventually, the surname that once ignored him comes seeking him. Interestingly, Jr NTR's story somewhat mirrors Pushparaj's. Fans of Tarak are well aware of this connection. Recently, MP Daggubati Purandeswari opened up about this in an interview.

Daggubati Purandeswari, who is the daughter of legendary actor and politician NTR, recently spoke about why Jr NTR was distanced from the Nandamuri family during his childhood. She said, "There are several reasons why Tarak was kept apart in his early years. There's no need to go into detail now, but yes, certain circumstances created that distance. However, we are all together now."

She also commented on the topic of Jr NTR's potential political entry, saying, "He is still young. So, does he need to enter politics right now? That's something only he can decide. Frankly, I’m not sure what his thoughts on politics are, as it’s never been a subject we’ve discussed."

Purandeswari has previously spoken about Jr NTR and shared that he remains in close contact with her children. She added that she genuinely wishes success for his films. Tarak fondly calls her "Atta" (aunt), and she affirmed that there are no issues between them.
