Singer Kalpana Raghavendar's Health Critical After Reported Suicide Attempt

 Singer Kalpana Raghavendar was hospitalized on March 2 after being found unconscious at her Hyderabad home following an apparent suicide attempt. It is believed she ingested sleeping pills. The police were alerted by concerned neighbors when she hadn’t opened her door for two days. She was rushed to the hospital and is currently stable but on ventilator support.

Kalpana, daughter of playback singer T.S. Raghavendra, gained fame after winning Star Singer Malayalam in 2010. She has recorded over 1,500 songs in various languages and collaborated with renowned composers like Ilaiyaraaja and A.R. Rahman. Kalpana also appeared on Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1 and was recently featured in hit songs such as “Kodi Parakura Kaalam” from Maamannan.

Doctors confirmed she took sleeping pills, and her condition is now stable. The police are investigating the reasons behind her actions.
