Kalpika Ganesh Clarifies Pub Incident: 'I Just Asked For Dessert'

Actress Kalpika Ganesh addressed a viral video showing her argument with staff at Frisam Pub, Gachibowli. She explained that during her birthday dinner, she simply asked for a complimentary dessert—a common practice at many Hyderabad venues—but was met with rude behavior.

Despite requesting politely and even involving the manager, she was denied and insulted. “They finally threw a brownie on the table disrespectfully,” she said. Concerned for her safety as 17 staff members surrounded her, she went live on social media for protection.

“I didn’t ask for a discount—just a birthday dessert. Their response lacked basic courtesy,” Kalpika added.
