Kamal Haasan, the Ulaganayagan, is currently lined up with back-to-back films. One of them is Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam, which is scheduled to release on June 5. Meanwhile, at the Chennai airport, a reporter asked Kamal Haasan about his next project, Vikram 2.

However, without commenting on Vikram 2, Kamal Haasan revealed that he has prepared a new script. Additionally, sources from Film Nagar suggest that this movie will soon be going on sets. There's curiosity about what kind of story Kamal Haasan has prepared and whether he will act and direct the film himself, or assign the direction to someone else.

In Thug Life, Kollywood star actor Simbu plays a key role, and other main actors include Aishwarya Lakshmi, Trisha, Gautam Karthik, Joju George, Dulquer Salman, and Jayam Ravi. With Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman providing music and background score, expectations for the film are quite high. The movie is being produced by Kamal Haasan-Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banners Rajkamal Film International, Red Giant Movies, and Madras Talkies, with Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran co-directing it.
