Raghava Lawrence, known for his success with Muni (2007) and its sequels Kanchana (2011) and Ganga (2015), has announced Kanchana 4, the latest installment in the popular horror-comedy franchise. The film, which has been fully scripted, promises the same entertainment as its predecessors.

The big update from the film is the casting of Mumbai-based actress Pooja Hegde as the heroine, replacing the initially planned Nayanthara. Kanchana 4 is being produced with a budget of around Rs. 100 crores by Bollywood's Gold Mine Movies, the same production house behind Lawrence's current project, Hunter. Fans eagerly await the start of the shoot and the entertainment this big-budget film will bring.
