Raising a pointed query, she asked why singer Chinmayi did not demand changes to those lyrics or voice her concerns on social media at that time. She cited the example of Anasuya, questioning why she chose to wear a silk saree instead of modern attire at her son’s Odugu ceremony, noting that this shows an understanding of traditions and customs.
