The HIT franchise, which already has three parts, is gearing up for its fourth installment. After the success of HIT 3 starring Nani, it was hinted that Karthi would be part of HIT 4. The makers have officially confirmed it by unveiling Karthi’s poster on the occasion of his birthday.

Karthi will be seen as ACP Veerappan in the film, directed by HIT series creator Shailesh Kolanu. The film is expected to release next year, with shooting likely to begin this year. In the poster, Karthi sports a striking moustache look, which has gone viral on social media.
