Kayadu Lohar to Romance Vishwak Sen in 'Funky'

Tollywood’s young hero Vishwak Sen is busy with back-to-back films. He recently appeared in the Valentine’s Day release Laila, but the film turned out to be a disaster. Acknowledging the failure, Vishwak Sen apologized to the audience. Now, he is determined to deliver a super hit and is focusing on making family-friendly films without vulgarity or offensive content.

In this context, Vishwak Sen is teaming up with Jathi Ratnalu fame director K.V. Anudeep for a new film titled Funky. There were several speculations about the female lead, with names like Krithi Shetty being considered. However, latest reports confirm that Kayadu Lohar has been finalized as the heroine.

Kayadu Lohar recently impressed audiences with her performance in the Tamil dubbed film Return of the Dragon. Funky will be her second Telugu film after Alluri, starring Sree Vishnu. The film is being directed by K.V. Anudeep, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. Funky is being produced by Naga Vamsi under the prestigious banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
