Keerthy Suresh, a star heroine in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films, got married on December 12 in Goa. She married her friend, businessman Anthony Thatil, from Dubai. Since Anthony Thatil is a Christian, it was expected that their wedding would take place in a church, but initially, the wedding followed Keerthy Suresh's family tradition and was conducted in a Brahmin style. Afterward, a church ceremony also took place. While the wedding was held in the Hindu tradition, Keerthy Suresh embraced it like any typical Hindu bride.

Keerthy Suresh, who does not prefer to make her wedding grand, only invited close family members and a few film personalities. Actress Trisha and actor Vijay attended the wedding in Goa. Now, an interesting detail about Keerthy Suresh's wedding saree has come to light. The saree she wore at the wedding was very simple but reportedly cost more than 3 lakh rupees.The saree was crafted by hand in Kanchipuram, utilizing premium silk threads.

The lacework on the saree was done with golden threads. It is said that it took almost 405 hours to make this saree. Similarly, Anthony Thatil's silk shawl and attire took 150 hours to create. It is noteworthy that Keerthy Suresh herself, being a costume designer, designed her wedding saree.
