Keerthy shared in an interview that Samantha had suggested her name, which Varun Dhawan later confirmed. "I can't be grateful enough," said Keerthy, praising Samantha's kindness and support.

Samantha also showed her support for Keerthy's new film by posting an Instagram story after watching the Baby John trailer, saying, "I wouldn't have shared this with anyone else, but you." Keerthy and Samantha previously worked together in the 2018 Telugu film Mahanati, where Keerthy won the National Award for Best Actress.

On a personal note, Keerthy married her longtime boyfriend, Antony Thattil, in a traditional and Christian wedding ceremony this month. Samantha congratulated the newlyweds with a heartfelt post on social media.
