Kerala Actor KR Jayachandran Faces Rape Charges Lookout Notice Issued

Malayalam actor KR Jayachandran has been issued a lookout notice by Kerala Police in connection with a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case. Allegations of rape have been made against him concerning a four-year-old girl. The case was registered last year at the Kasaba police station in Kozhikode. The victim's mother filed a complaint, leading the police to register the case. He has been charged under sections of the POCSO Act for sexual assault.

Without being arrested, Jayachandran approached the High Court for relief. However, the court denied him anticipatory bail. Earlier, the Kozhikode Sessions Court also rejected his bail petition. In this context, the relatives of the victim filed a complaint with the Kozhikode City Police Commissioner, urging immediate action against Jayachandran. Subsequently, he went into hiding.

As a result, the police have issued lookout notices for Jayachandran. They have requested the public to report any information about him to the Kasaba Police Station in Kozhikode.
