Khaleja Re Release Breaks World Record With 11,000 Tickets Sold Per Hour

Khaleja Re-Release Breaks All-Time World Record in Ticket Sales

Khaleja, the film by Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu, originally released to high expectations but became a flop. Over time, it gained popularity, especially on TV and OTT platforms, turning into a cult classic. Fans eagerly awaited its re-release.

Advance bookings for Khaleja in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana started recently and quickly became a sensation, with 11,000 tickets sold per hour on the Book My Show app — an unprecedented record for any re-release, comparable to new film bookings.

The film earned Rs 16 lakh in advance bookings in Hyderabad in just one hour and has grossed over Rs 70 lakh worldwide so far, with strong overseas bookings starting as well.

Trade analysts predict Khaleja could surpass its original release gross of Rs 28 crore, thanks to this massive re-release craze. The weekend collections will reveal the full impact of this comeback.
