Pawan Kalyan's Mentor Shihan Hussaini Passes Away at 60
Recently, the news of celebrity deaths has been increasing. Before one death is forgotten, another follows. Now, popular Kollywood actor and Pawan Kalyan’s mentor, Shihan Hussaini, has passed away at the age of 60. He had been suffering from leukemia for some time and was admitted to a hospital in Chennai, where he passed away while undergoing treatment. Many prominent personalities have expressed their condolences, and his family is receiving deep sympathies. Though he may not be well-known to Telugu audiences, he was a mentor to Pawan Kalyan.
Hussaini trained Pawan Kalyan in martial arts, karate, and kickboxing, helping him achieve a black belt. He is survived by his wife and daughter. His family shared on social media that he used to stay in his residence at Besant Nagar until the evening. His last rites will be performed in Chennai in the presence of his family members.
Hussaini was very active on social media, regularly sharing updates and documenting his cancer journey. The Tamil Nadu government even provided ₹5 lakh financial assistance for his treatment. Before passing away, he expressed his wish to donate his body for medical research. He began his acting career in 1986 with Kamal Haasan’s Punnagai Mannan and also worked with Rajinikanth. His last films were Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal starring Vijay Sethupathi and Chennai City Gangsters. Apart from films, he was also a judge and host in various reality shows, earning a reputation as a multi-talented personality.
