Lenin Movie Update: First Song Release Date, Bhagyashree’s Role Revealed

As the new year begins, Akhil Akkineni has finally shared an important update regarding his upcoming film Lenin. Following the major setback he faced with Agent, expectations are once again building around this new project.

Directed by Murali Kishore Abbur, Lenin is being produced by Suryadevara Nagavamsi and Akkineni Nagarjuna under the banners of Sitara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios. Initially, popular actress Srileela was chosen as the female lead, and the makers even released a picture of her alongside Ayyagaru. However, developments after that remained unclear, and eventually, Srileela exited the project.

Later, reports surfaced suggesting that Bhagyashree Borse would step in as her replacement, though no official confirmation was made at that time. Meanwhile, Akhil’s wedding took place, temporarily pausing the film’s progress. After completing his personal commitments, Akhil resumed shooting, and there were also talks that certain portions had to be reshot due to unforeseen issues. At one stage, rumors even circulated questioning whether the original version of Lenin still existed.

Putting an end to all speculation, Ayyagaru has now confirmed that the shooting of Lenin has been completed. Marking the occasion, Akhil released a special New Year poster. It was also announced that the film’s first song will be unveiled on January 5.

Along with this announcement, the makers officially released Bhagyashree’s poster, revealing that she will be seen in the role of Bharathi. Her appearance has already caught attention, with many impressed by her on-screen charm. The song, titled “Ennelle Wonda Maa Bharathi,” is scheduled for release on January 5.

Following the poster reveal, social media discussions have begun. While some netizens feel Srileela looked better alongside Ayyagaru, others are eager to see how Bhagyashree pairs with Akhil. Much of the audience response is now expected after the release of the first song, which may set the tone for opinions on the new on-screen pairing.
