Madhavi Latha Files Complaint Against JC Prabhakar Reddy Over Derogatory Remarks

Actress Madhavi Latha has filed a complaint against JC Prabhakar Reddy, the Chairman of Tadipatri Municipal Corporation in Anantapur district, with the Movie Artists Association (MAA) and the Telugu Film Chamber. Madhavi Latha stated that since the film industry did not respond to the comments made by Prabhakar Reddy about her, she decided to file a complaint with the association. "Prabhakar Reddy spoke terribly about me. It is not right to make accusations about people from the film industry. An apology from him is not enough. I will fight a legal battle against him. Since the film industry did not condemn his remarks, I am filing a complaint with the Film Chamber," she explained. Before filing the complaint, Madhavi Latha posted on her Instagram, stating, "My fight for justice."

The controversy erupted following the New Year's Eve event at JC Park in Tadipatri on December 31, where JC Prabhakar Reddy made objectionable comments about Madhavi Latha and BJP leader Sadhineni Yamini. His remarks led to widespread criticism. In response, JC Prabhakar Reddy recently stated that he was withdrawing his comments and offering an apology. He clarified that the comments were made in a fit of anger, and he had no intention to insult either of them.

JC Prabhakar Reddy further added that his offensive remarks were made out of frustration and that he did not mean to degrade or insult the individuals involved. He expressed regret over his words and acknowledged the criticism he received for his actions.
