The Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission has issued a notice to superstar Mahesh Babu, who promoted a real estate firm using his image. A doctor and another individual allege they were misled by the company’s brochures and invested 34.8 lakh each in plots at Balapur, believing all approvals were in place.

Later, they discovered the project lacked proper permissions. The firm returned only 15 lakh in installments.

The complaint names Sai Surya Developers, its owner Kancharla Satish Chandragupta, and Mahesh Babu as respondents. Mahesh has been asked to appear before the Commission today.
