Aamir Khan’s Sitare Zameen Par, a sequel to Taare Zameen Par, is directed by RS Prasanna and stars Genelia Deshmukh. Made on a ₹90 crore budget, it’s inspired by the Spanish film Champions and released on 3500 screens in India, 4200 worldwide.

The film grossed ₹60 crore within its first three days and continues to pick up pace. Mahesh Babu hailed it as a timeless classic that evokes “tears, laughter, and applause,” further amplifying the film’s growing popularity.  Despite OTT offers of over ₹100 crore, Aamir chose not to release it online.
