Major Twist in Saif Ali Khan Knife Attack Case

Shocking details have emerged in the knife attack case involving Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The fingerprints found at the actor’s house do not match those of the accused, Shariful Islam Shehazad, according to the police. These findings were mentioned in the 1,600-page charge sheet recently submitted to the court.

On January 16, 2025, during the early hours of the morning, a person broke into Saif Ali Khan’s Mumbai home and stabbed him multiple times. The incident occurred around 2 AM. The actor intervened after hearing sounds following an attack on female staff. A clash occurred between the intruder and the actor, resulting in serious injuries to Saif Ali Khan. He was immediately rushed to the hospital by staff.

After being informed, the police arrived at the scene and collected fingerprints from the actor’s residence. They also reviewed CCTV footage. The charge sheet states that 20 fingerprint samples were found in various areas of the flat. Based on suspicion, a Bangladeshi national, Shehazad, was taken into custody. However, the forensic report confirmed that his fingerprints did not match the samples. Still, the Mumbai court was informed that the weapon seized from him did match the one used in the attack.
