Manchu Manoj, son of veteran actor Mohan Babu, was arrested by Tirupati police following a family dispute. The arrest came after Mohan Babu filed a complaint regarding the ongoing family issues. Manoj was taken into custody at his Tirupati residence and shifted to Bhakarapet police station.

The arrest occurred a day after Manoj participated in a Jallikattu event in Chittoor and met Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh. Last year, the Manchu family feud made headlines, with accusations between Manoj and his father about forcibly occupying homes and personal harm.

Mohan Babu, a renowned Telugu actor and producer, has three children: Vishnu, Lakshmi, and Manoj. Tensions between Manoj and Vishnu have been escalating, with disputes over the family business, which includes educational institutions and production companies. Manoj has also faced disapproval over his marriage to Mounika. In 2019, Manoj launched his venture, MM Arts, but it lacked support from his father. This ongoing family conflict has deepened over time, further fueled by business and personal disagreements.
