After her husband’s death, senior actress Meena faced numerous rumors about remarrying, which she never addressed publicly. On the show Jayammu Nischayammura hosted by Jagapathi Babu, she spoke about her experiences, saying flops in her career led producers to pay her less, while hits didn’t earn her lasting recognition.

Meena expressed pain over the false claims linking her to divorced actors, saying, “Whoever is divorced in the industry, I am supposedly married to them. None of it is true, yet the rumors never stop.” She added, “I never thought I would see such news after my husband’s death.”

Despite this, Meena continues her successful career, starring in modern mother roles and continuing to make films following the popularity of Drishyam.
