MM Keeravani's Father Shivasakthi Dutta Dies At 92

Veteran lyricist Shivasakthi Dutta, father of music director MM Keeravani, passed away at 92 due to age-related issues at his Manikonda residence. Born as Koduri Subbarao in 1932 near Rajamahendravaram, he began as a painter before entering films with his brother Vijayendra Prasad.

He gained fame with Janaki Ramudu (1988) and penned lyrics for iconic songs in Baahubali, RRR, Sye, and more. He is survived by his children Keeravani, Kalyani Malik, and Shiva Sri Kanchi.
