The hearing on his bail petition ended with the verdict being postponed, but ultimately, the High Court denied his anticipatory bail.

In a related incident, media personnel were attacked at Sri Vidyaniketan International School in Chandragiri Mandal, Chittoor district, while covering news at Mohan Babu University. Following the attack, police granted station bail to seven individuals, including Mohan Babu’s PRO Satish and his bouncers, providing some relief to them. The police had registered a case against Satish and others based on journalists' complaints.
