Mohan Babu Goes Into Hiding After Murder Attempt Case

Mohan Babu has reportedly gone into hiding. It is known that a murder attempt case has been filed against him in connection with the incident of assaulting a journalist at his residence in Jalapally. The police have been attempting to record his statement, but he has not been found anywhere. It is reported that the police have been searching for Mohan Babu intensively since yesterday. In this case, Mohan Babu had approached the High Court for anticipatory bail, but his request was rejected. The hearing of his petition was postponed to Thursday.

On Tuesday night, a murder attempt case was registered against him by the police in relation to the assault on the journalist at his residence in Jalapally. Initially, a case was filed under section 118(1) BNS against Mohan Babu. After consulting legal opinion, the Pahadi Sharif police registered a murder attempt case against him on Thursday under section 109.

It is also known that Mohan Babu filed a petition in the High Court seeking anticipatory bail in connection with this case. In his petition, he requested the court to order the police to refrain from conducting further investigations or arrests. However, the High Court rejected his request for interim relief and postponed the hearing of the petition to Thursday.
