Mohan Babu Granted Anticipatory Bail In Journalist Attack Case By Supreme Court

Supreme Court Relieves Mohan Babu in Journalist Attack Case

Mohan Babu, the popular actor, received relief from the Supreme Court in the journalist attack case. The court granted him anticipatory bail on Thursday. The Pahad Sharif police had initially filed an attempted murder case against him after an incident at his Jalpally residence, where a media representative was injured. The case, originally filed under Section 118(1) of the IPC, was later converted into an attempt to murder charge after further legal review.

Mohan Babu expressed regret and issued an apology to the injured journalist, stating in a letter that he was deeply saddened by the incident. He explained that during a confrontation at his home, where 30-50 people entered, he lost his patience and that the journalist was unintentionally hurt while the situation was being controlled. He wished the journalist a speedy recovery.
