On December 14, 2024, Allu Arjun, the star of Pushpa 2, was granted interim bail for four weeks following his arrest in connection with the tragic death of a woman at a Pushpa 2: The Rule screening in Hyderabad. After his release, Naga Chaitanya and Rana Daggubati visited Allu Arjun at his home in Jubilee Hills. In a viral video, Rana is seen warmly embracing Allu Arjun, while Naga Chaitanya also greeted the actor with a handshake.

Surekha Konidala, wife of actor Chiranjeevi, also visited Allu Arjun to offer her support, looking visibly emotional during their interaction.

Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 but was released after the Telangana High Court granted him bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. Though the court confirmed there was no malafide action in the case, delays in paperwork resulted in Allu Arjun spending one night in jail. Upon his release, the actor expressed his remorse, calling the woman's death "very unfortunate," and assured support for her family, thanking his fans and well-wishers for their love and support.
