Naga Chaitanya, who separated from Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021, has recently gotten engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala. In a recent interview, Naga Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna, shared that his son was deeply "depressed" following his divorce but is now "very happy" with his new engagement. Nagarjuna expressed his joy over Chay’s newfound happiness and revealed that the engagement ceremony, held on August 8, was intimate and attended by close family members.

Nagarjuna also mentioned that despite the separation, his relationship with Samantha remains unchanged. He added that the date was chosen based on auspicious timing, and he shared the engagement news on social media, expressing his delight and welcoming Sobhita into the family.
