Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's love story captured hearts, but their 2021 separation left fans heartbroken. The couple, who met during the 2010 film Ye Maaya Chesave and married in 2017, kept their relationship private for a while. Chaitanya recently shared an old memory where Samantha gave him an ultimatum about telling his parents. Despite her repeated insistence, Chaitanya was hesitant, and it was only after Samantha threatened to tie a rakhi on him if he didn’t reveal their relationship that he spoke to his parents, securing their consent.

The reasons behind their divorce remained undisclosed, sparking rumors. Many fans also criticized Chaitanya's recent marriage to actress Sohita Dhulipala in December 2024.
