Akkineni Nagarjuna's defamation case against Konda Surekha, originally set for Monday, has been postponed to Tuesday. Nagarjuna will appear in court to record his statement.

Nagarjuna initiated the lawsuit after Surekha made offensive remarks linking him to Naga Chaitanya and Samantha's divorce, damaging the Akkineni family's reputation. Her retraction did not mitigate the backlash from industry figures like Chiranjeevi.

Nagarjuna stressed that celebrities should not be exploited for political gain and found Surekha's apology insufficient. He hopes his legal action will deter politicians from using celebrity names inappropriately.
