Tollywood star Akkineni Nagarjuna is currently stuck on the Penukonda-Anantapur highway due to heavy flooding caused by recent cyclonic rains in Andhra Pradesh, particularly affecting the Anantapur district. Nagarjuna was en route to the opening of a new Kalyan Jewelers branch after arriving at Puttaparthi Airport. He is now waiting at the Marur toll gate while police work to ensure his safe passage to Anantapur. Traffic has come to a standstill as rivers overflow in the region.
