Andhra Pradesh Minister Payyavula Keshav confirmed that Tollywood star and Hindupuram MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has fallen ill. Speaking at the 'Super Six – Super Hit' meeting in Anantapur on September 10, 2025, Keshav said Balakrishna could not attend due to health reasons, sparking concern among fans on social media. No official update on his condition has been released yet.

Keshav also explained that Nara Lokesh was absent as he is monitoring the safety of Telugus in Nepal amid recent violent incidents.

Balakrishna, a three-time Hindupuram MLA and a major Tollywood star with consecutive film successes, is set to appear in the highly anticipated pan-India release, Akhanda 2.
