Rumours have been circulating on social media that actress Nayanthara and her husband, director Vignesh Shivan, are heading for a divorce due to personal differences. Fueling the speculation was a fake Instagram story in Nayanthara’s name, calling marriage to a “stupid person” a mistake.

In response, Nayanthara shared a photo with Vignesh, captioning it: “This is our reaction to the silly news about us,” dismissing the rumours.

Currently, Nayanthara is working on Chiranjeevi’s film with director Anil Ravipudi, and other Tamil projects, including Yash’s Toxic. Vignesh Shivan is currently directing a new film titled Love Insurance Company, with Pradeep Ranganathan playing the lead role.
