HYDERABAD: The CID’s Special Investigation Team has intensified its inquiry into the case linked to the promotion of betting applications. As part of the ongoing probe, actors Nidhhi Agerwal, Sreemukhi, and Amrutha Chowdary appeared before the officials for questioning on Tuesday.

According to sources, the questioning of Sreemukhi has already concluded, while Nidhhi Agerwal and Amrutha Chowdary are still being examined by the investigation team.

The case, filed several months ago, involves allegations that several public figures endorsed betting platforms. To thoroughly investigate the operation and promotion of these apps within the state, the government formed a dedicated Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the Crime Investigation Department (CID).
