OG Movie Ticket Price Hike Suspended In Telangana

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s 'OG' (They Call Him OG) hit a setback before release as the Telangana High Court stayed the government’s order allowing a ticket price hike. The court directed the government to submit its arguments, confusing fans and potential box office challenges.

The September 19 OG had permitted ticket prices up to Rs 800 for special premiere shows on September 24 and higher prices for 10 days from September 25. Regular screens were priced up to Rs 177 and multiplexes Rs 295, reverting to normal after October 4.

Fans had started pre-booking, but some expressed dissatisfaction, recalling the 'Pushpa 2' controversy. Petitioners argued that the hike would burden audiences and disrupt fairness in the industry. The court’s stay, issued on September 24, a day before release, casts uncertainty over premieres and bookings.
