Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu, Mohan Babu, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal, released on June 27 and is performing well at the box office. Helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and backed by Mohan Babu’s grand production, the film garnered an overwhelming response from audiences nationwide.

However, piracy has hit the film hard, with over 30,000 illegal links already taken down. Vishnu urged people not to support piracy, calling it a form of theft that harms the film industry. He emphasized the need to watch films only in theatres or through official OTT platforms.

Kannappa, a passion project for Vishnu, was made with high personal stakes—he even mortgaged his assets and hasn't sold any rights yet. The OTT deal is still under discussion, and it remains to be seen when and where the digital release will happen.
